I suppose your wondering what is so interesting about this? Yes I do find it to be an entertaining and well composed musical piece. However, that is not what i find amazing about the above or linked video. What i find interesting about this is that it is sung by Megurine Luka one of the programs in the Vocaloid series. Vocaloid is a series of programs used to synthesize the singing human voice. The above video is an example of some of the capabilities this program has when used by a skilled composer. This technology has only been out for a few years and is fairly cheap and accessible compared to hiring singers for Local and upcoming composers and musicians and it should be interesting to see how this is used in the music industry once it is improved. I can't wait to pick up a copy of a few Vocaloid characters for myself and give it a shot >.<.

secret post
I wasn't all terribly interested in this though i did find one or two of them funny. But i've never really cared for secrets and for the most part i don't care to know other peoples secrets. i do not think this is because I'm noble in any aspect actually i attribute this to my abnormal selfishness i mean who really cares about anothers secret it gots nothing to do with me.

Killing yourself to live
Where to start....
Well out of a score of 10 I would probably give this book a 6 overall. This is by no means an unbiased opinion and not an objective review for the record.
First I would like to say the book is well written in that it posses strong voice. This is the books strongest point by far and its saving grace for making a 6. The way it is written it seems as if Chuck is next to you talking to you on his drive. This gives the book the feel of a long conversation. While this is an interesting approach i feel that other then chuck none of the other characters have much voice at all, a whole lot of dimension or importance. A large part of this may be do because chuck and the book seems wildly ego centric and chuck easily comes off as a selfish jackass. This is probably the greatest hindrance to me liking the book as it was flawless in its execution of putting chuck next to me it made it seem like a long conversation however, it was a conversation with a person I just could not get along with. The book did well to set the tone and mood and i was always aware of it but never a part of it. Like two parallel lines I just wouldn't ever intersect with it. Well.... except once the only valid point and the only time I felt even a little in sync with the main character was at the end when he noted on the first paragraph on page 232. It is this paragraph I feel i can completely agree with and I think this paragraph is probably the best written in the book. Why? well the thing with this paragraph is It speaks to the reader, it seems to me anyway to carry more strength then the rest in voice and the point it makes is much more full then any of the others made. Perhaps because this is the end of his journey and his brain is not so frazzled. The other thing i would like to note is that although he voices the idea of relationships shaping ones idea's of love I think this holds truth for many areas in a persons life. Which is why this book to me is a 6 out of 10 and not a 10 out of 10 because of the other books and stories and movies I have read or watched and enjoyed they have become templates to what I love about a book or song or media and what i compare new stuff to.
So to sum it up it's a 6 out of 10 for me (well written, hated the character and story). If were to attempt to judge it on literary merit and attempt to be objective I would probably rate it at a 7.5 or 8 not the greatest work I've ever read but superior to the average.

Poem- Malleable yet marred- Free verse
You need not worry dear boys like us bend not break.
Now take a deep breath and give it to me straight.
I am a sheep in wolf attire walking your tightrope wire.
Never the type to move with grace,
but always equipped with the best poker face.
This steady hand hides the adoration of this man.
And a charming smile does well to distract for a while.
So give me your answer and what will it be?
When you look inside do you find love for me?
You need not worry if the answer be no.
For I am an excellent actor equipped to preform an applause worthy show.
No a wound dealt to me your eyes shall not see.
For I would never hurt you though painful it be.
Boys like us we were never so lucky to just fall apart.
We bend not break, we're malleable yet marred.
The inspiration for this would be poem was the break up with my first girlfriend.
As with almost all the poems i write it usually starts with an event or mood or thought or a combination of the three. From there i usually come up with a single line I feel carry's a lot of weight and captures the wanted attributes with simplistic form. The challenge after that is i build the rest of the poem around this one line.

Murasaki Shikibu
Murasaki was author to one of the earliest known works of pros "Tale of Genji" as well as a poet. If you have ever read "Tale of Genji" or read even a portion of it is simply staggering for a book written between 1000 and 1008. Yet despite being a literary giant for her day her popularity in western education and culture is not as strong as it should be. It is believed she lived from 973c-1014or25 because of this a video or audio done by here is impossible. Below are some links about her and her works.

I honestly feel "Tale of Genji" being arguably the first novel ever written that has survived until today and the fact that in its time it was far and away in a league of its own should give it a prominent place in our education system and make it or at least a part of it a required text.

Favorite poem
The poem below is absolutely my favorite poem (for now anyway). It is taken from my favorite book which is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I like the format the poem is written in his descriptions and references to specific details in the book also caught my eye a lot when i read it. My favorite stanza would be the last in this poem with my favorite line being the very last. I also like the repetition and use of the theme of a missing person being tied into the poem. I feel this poems mood really does a great job of perfectly fitting the mood of the book.

"Never knows best"
This is actually a screen shot from my favorite Anime FLCL the character in the picture is Mamimi a high school girl. In the picture you can see she is smoking in-spite the young age and it being illegal on the cigarette which i posted a close up picture of it is the phrase "never knows best". I've never been a smoker nor do i support it but I did find this very cleaver and thought it gave good depth to the character.
